Great to meet you!

With more than 25 years of experience as a psychotherapist, I have had the privilege of helping people better understand themselves, heal from painful experiences, strengthen their relationships, and create meaningful change in their lives. Helping others is truly my passion.

As a Doctor of Behavioral Health and Licensed Clinical Social Worker, I work with adults experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship challenges, life transitions, low self-esteem, and recurring emotional or behavioral patterns that may be keeping them stuck.

I believe that greater self-awareness can be life-changing. My goal is bigger than helping you simply feel better—I want to help you understand yourself deeply, break free from patterns that no longer serve you, strengthen your relationships, accomplish your personal goals, and create a life you are genuinely excited to live.

My approach to therapy

My approach is warm, collaborative and creative. I believe powerful therapy goes beyond simply talking about problems. Together, we uncover the deeper patterns, triggers, beliefs, and past experiences that may be influencing how you think, feel, behave, and relate to others today.

I integrate evidence-based approaches including CBT, EMDR, DBT-informed strategies, motivational interviewing, attachment-based therapy, and trauma-informed care, tailoring treatment to each individual.

One of the unique aspects of my approach is creativity. I use relatable metaphors, original visual concepts that I have created and creative strategies to make complicated psychological concepts easier to understand and apply to your own life. When you can finally recognize and understand a pattern, you are in a much stronger position to change it.

Therapy with me is not just about understanding where you've been—it's about helping you move toward where you want to go.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is an opportunity for me to get to know you—not just your symptoms, but your story, your relationships, your challenges, your strengths, and what you want your life to look like.

My priority is to create a warm, comfortable, and nonjudgmental environment where you can speak openly and feel genuinely heard. We will begin identifying what may be keeping you stuck, explore the patterns that could be contributing to your current concerns, and clarify what you would most like to change.

Together, we will begin developing meaningful goals for therapy and a path forward. My hope is that you leave your first session not only feeling understood, but also with greater clarity, hope, and a sense that meaningful change is possible.

Ultimately, our work is about more than reducing symptoms. It's about helping you understand yourself, improve your relationships, accomplish your goals, and move closer to the life you want to live.
