Hello, my name is Alina Alvarez. I am board certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse practitioner with 10 years of experience treating Anxiety, Panic Disorder, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, Depression, Bipolar Disorder, Insomnia, PTSD, etc. I completed my degree at Walden University in Minneapolis, Minnesota. My work experience is based in hospitals such as Bruce W. Carter Department of Veterans Affair Medical Center, Jackson Behavioral Hospital, HCA Florida Kendall Hospital, HCA Florida Mercy Hospital and Mount Sinai Medical Center.

My approach seeks to uncover the root causes of brain imbalances. I provide patient-centered, evidence-based care with a focus on accurate diagnosis, shared decision-making, and supportive communication. My therapeutic approach included Medication Management, Supportive Therapy, Psycho education, Lifestyle Strategies.

During your first visit, we will focus on understanding your concerns, symptoms, and goals. I will complete a thorough psychiatric evaluation, review your medical and mental health history, and explore any past treatments.

Together, we will develop an initial treatment plan,

which may include medication options, lifestyle guidance, and supportive strategies. You will have time to ask

questions, and my goal is to ensure you feel heard, comfortable, and supported from the beginning.
