Great to meet you!

Hello, my name is Aline. I have over 28 years of experience as a professional counselor. I have worked with individuals, families, and couples from all walks of life, helping them develop skills to regain their power and overcome emotional challenges caused by life's traumatic events. I received my M.A. master's degree in Counseling Psychology, Marriage, and Family Therapy from National University in Fresno, California, in 2005. I received my BA in Psychology from California State University, Fresno, in 1999.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is direct, warm, and narrative. As a Marriage and Family Therapist and Certified Life Coach, I understand how our past Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) can significantly influence how we perceive the world and our relationships today. I am a trauma-informed therapist, capable of supporting individuals and couples as they navigate challenges related to mental health issues, relationships, changes in family structure, and their emotional stabilization and regulation issues.

What you can expect from me

I believe in empowering individuals to pursue positive change and authenticity by providing the appropriate support tools within a safe and non-judgmental environment. You will leave therapy equipped with tools you can use at home to help you become the person you aspire to be.
