Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m Alisa McGee, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 16 years of experience in the mental health field. I bring an energetic, compassionate presence to therapy and value the role of positivity and even laughter in the healing process. I work with individuals and couples navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship challenges, and life transitions. I aim to create a supportive, nonjudgmental space that encourages both reflection and meaningful growth.

My approach to therapy

My approach is collaborative, strengths-based, and rooted in evidence-based practices. I believe in a mind, body spirit approach and I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and the Gottman Method to help clients develop practical skills, improve emotional regulation, and build stronger relationships. I tailor each session to meet your unique needs, ensuring you feel heard, respected, and empowered.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect to leave sessions with greater self-awareness, effective coping strategies, and a clearer path forward. Whether working through anxiety, past trauma, or relationship issues, my goal is to support lasting change and help you feel more confident navigating life’s challenges.
