Great to meet you!

I am a board-certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) licensed in New York State with over 10 years of experience in psychiatric care and 4 years of experience as a nurse practitioner specializing in mental health treatment. Throughout my career, I have worked across diverse clinical settings and have treated individuals across the lifespan, from children and adolescents to adults and older adults.

I provide comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, diagnosis, and medication management for a wide range of mental health conditions, including mood disorders, anxiety disorders, trauma-related conditions, ADHD, psychotic disorders, and other complex psychiatric presentations. My approach is evidenced-based, collaborative, and individualized — recognizing that each person’s experience is unique.

I strive to create a safe, affirming, and non-judgmental space where clients feel heard and respected. I am kind, empathetic, and solution-focused, working alongside my patients to develop practical, evidence-based treatment plans that support both symptom relief and long-term wellness.

I am proudly LGBTQ+ friendly and committed to providing inclusive, culturally responsive care for individuals of all identities and backgrounds.

My goal is to empower you with clarity, support, and effective treatment options so you can move toward improved mental health and a better quality of life.

My approach to therapy

My style is warm, empathetic, and solution-focused. I believe in partnership — you are the expert on your lived experience, and I bring clinical expertise to help guide the process. Together, we develop individualized treatment plans that may include medication management, lifestyle adjustments, coping strategies, and coordination with therapy when appropriate.

I am proudly LGBTQ+ affirming and committed to providing inclusive, culturally responsive care. Every individual deserves to feel seen, respected, and supported in their healing journey.

What you can expect from me

Your initial appointment is a comprehensive psychiatric evaluation designed to gain a thorough understanding of your mental, emotional, and physical health.

During this session, we will review:

  • Your current symptoms and concerns
  • Past psychiatric history and previous treatments
  • Medical and physical health history
  • Current and past medications, including effectiveness and side effects
  • Family mental health history
  • Lifestyle factors such as sleep, stress, and daily functioning

This evaluation allows us to look at the full picture — not just isolated symptoms — so that we can develop a thoughtful and personalized treatment plan.

You can also expect psychoeducation throughout the appointment. I believe understanding your diagnosis, how medications work, and what treatment options are available empowers you to make informed decisions about your care.

At the conclusion of the session, we will discuss clinical impressions and recommendations, which may include medication options, lifestyle considerations, therapy referrals (if appropriate), and a clear plan of care moving forward.

My goal is to create a safe, supportive, and collaborative environment where you feel heard, respected, and actively involved in your treatment decisions.
