Clients come to me in need of a professional who can relate to their experiences, & help guide & develop their thought process & decisions. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) & Certified Clinical Anxiety Treatment Professional (CCATP) from Oakland, CA. I earned my BS degree in Criminal Justice from the University of Louisiana, Lafayette & my MSW degree from Southern University, New Orleans. My diverse background in the health/mental health field extends over eighteen years.

My clinical work has equally been with adolescents & adults on restructuring thoughts & behaviors, developing healthy & nurturing relationships, learning new skills to minimize the impact of distressing situations, building self-confidence, enhancing self-awareness, & finding or rediscovering purpose. My approach is always non-judgmental, empathetic, & individualized to the unique situation of each of my clients. I draw from a number of methodologies which include CBT, SFT, & MI.
