Great to meet you!
Welcome. Alisha Allen is currently accepting new clients interested in neurodivergent-affirming evaluations (ADHD/autism spectrum disorder, and AuDHD) and/or joining Brightmane Therapeutic Center's neurodiverse support groups.
Brightmane offers small, thoughtfully structured support groups for children, teens, adults, and parents/caregivers of neurodiverse children. Groups focus on connection, shared understanding, celebrating individual strengths, and skill development. To support sensory needs and meaningful engagement, each group is capped at 6 participants.
Brightmane's individual therapy is currently full; however, a waiting list is available for those seeking individual therapy.
I'm Alisha and I'm glad you're here. I offer therapy for those seeking thoughtful, grounded support and conduct neurodivergence (ADHD/autism) assessments, as well as school advocacy support. As a neurodivergent clinician, I understand how exhausting it can be to mask, over-function, or feel misunderstood in spaces that weren't built with your needs in mind. I'm also a lead clinician at Stanford Lucile Packard Children's Hospital with extensive training in gold standard autism assessment tools such as ADOS-2 and ADI-R. Perhaps your child is struggling with regulation or connection, or you're navigating anxiety, or patterns rooted in old survival strategies. There may be questions around identity, relationships, consciousness, or neurodivergence itself that feel ready to explore. Whatever brings you here, this is a space where you don’t have to translate yourself to be seen. I hold space with care.
