Great to meet you!

"If you love what you do, you never have to work a day in your life." That was what my favorite boss told me many years ago. She was absolutely right. That was 18 years ago and I still wake up psyched to get to be a therapist every day. I hope to meet new folks and join them on their journey to a better life-whatever that means to them; and I'm bringing encouragement, humor (if that's cool) and some guidance for the road!

My approach to therapy

When you start therapy with me, you’ll have the chance to share what you’re hoping to get out of our work together. You’ll be able to tell your story at your own pace, and we’ll focus on what matters most to you. I use a mix of approaches tailored to your needs, with the goal of helping you feel better and improve your quality of life. You’ll find that I take a holistic view, looking at how trauma, substance use, grief and other mental health or behavioral challenges can be connected. With years of experience working with people who have many different layers to their story, you can feel confident you’ll be understood and supported every step of the way.

What you can expect from me

"My hope is that each week, you leave our session feeling like you've gained something—whether it's learning something new, feeling truly heard, feeling more prepared, or having a deeper understanding of your own emotions or the actions of others. Even just one of those is more than enough."
