Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m Alisha, a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with over 20 years of experience in mental health care. I’m passionate about creating a welcoming, judgment-free space where you feel heard and understood.

I take a personalized, collaborative approach to treatment and work with adults experiencing depression, anxiety, mood disorders, OCD, PMDD, and ADHD, including non-stimulant treatment options. My goal is to help you feel more like yourself again while finding a treatment plan that fits your needs and your life.

While I provide care for a wide range of mental health conditions, I have a particular interest in obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) and premenstrual dysphoric disorder (PMDD). I am passionate about supporting individuals with OCD by helping them better understand their symptoms, reduce the impact of intrusive thoughts and compulsive behaviors, and improve their overall quality of life. I am also interested in PMDD due to its significant impact on emotional well-being, mood regulation, and daily functioning, and the importance of providing compassionate, individualized care that recognizes the connection between hormonal changes and mental health. Additionally, I have completed specialized education in medication management for OCD to further enhance my knowledge and ability to support individuals navigating this condition.

My approach to therapy

My approach to care is collaborative, compassionate, and personalized. I believe you know yourself best, and my role is to listen, understand what you’re experiencing, and work with you to find an approach that fits your needs and goals.

What you can expect from me

I take the time to explain treatment options, answer questions, and make sure you feel comfortable with the plan we create together. I want you to feel heard, respected, and supported throughout your care-not judged or rushed.

Your first session is a chance for us to get to know each other and for me to understand what brings you to care. We’ll talk about your current concerns, your mental health history, medications, and what you hope to accomplish through treatment.

I’ll answer your questions, explain treatment options, and together we’ll decide on a plan that feels comfortable and appropriate for you.
