Great to meet you!

For over 10 years, I have worked alongside individuals navigating some of life's most difficult challenges, including trauma, addiction, incarceration, anxiety, depression, low self-worth, and major life transitions. These experiences have taught me that healing happens when people feel safe, understood, and empowered to create meaningful change.

I believe that our past experiences often shape how we see ourselves and the world around us. Together, we can explore the beliefs and patterns that may be keeping you stuck, process difficult experiences, and build a stronger foundation for the future. My style is warm, collaborative, and direct, providing both support and gentle challenge as you work toward your goals.

Whether you're feeling overwhelmed, disconnected, or simply ready for a new chapter, I am committed to meeting you where you are and helping you move forward with greater confidence, clarity, and self-compassion.

My approach to therapy

I take a client-centered, trauma-informed approach to therapy, tailoring treatment to your unique needs, experiences, and goals. I am trained in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), an evidence-based therapy that helps individuals process and heal from distressing experiences that may contribute to anxiety, depression, trauma symptoms, addiction, relationship difficulties, and negative self-beliefs.

My goal is not only to help reduce symptoms but also to help you better understand yourself, strengthen resilience, and create lasting change. I believe therapy should be both supportive and transformative; a space where you can feel heard, challenged, and empowered.

In addition to trauma-focused work, I have specialized training in perinatal mental health and support individuals navigating preconception, pregnancy, infertility, pregnancy and infant loss, postpartum adjustment, and other reproductive mental health concerns. Together, we will work at a pace that feels comfortable while building the tools and insights needed to help you thrive.

What you can expect from me

In the first session, clients can expect a welcoming and nonjudgmental space to share their story. We’ll get to know each other, discuss your reasons for seeking support, and explore your goals for therapy. I’ll ask questions to understand your experiences and challenges, and together we’ll start identifying ways to move forward. My focus is on listening, building trust, and creating a plan that feels safe and manageable for you.
