Great to meet you!

My name is Alisha Padilla and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I received my masters in Social Work from Herbert H. Lehman College in 2017. I have been practicing in multiple fields including but not limited to: alcohol and substance abuse treatment, adjustment disorders, depression and anxiety, criminal behavior, infertility/perinatal mental health, and PTSD.

A bit about my approach to therapy

Using EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), we can work to address and resolve many difficulties that may interfere with the life you envision for yourself reducing symptoms of depression, anxiety, trauma, addictions, low self esteem, and relationship issues. Additionally, I am trained in perinatal mental health serving people through preconception, pregnancy, perinatal loss, infertility, and postpartum mental health complications.

What you can expect from our first session

I value having a strong rapport with my client in order to collaborate with you in creating the most appropriate treatment plan to best meet your needs and goals.
