Great to meet you!

I have spent most of my professional life helping people manage stress, burnout, trauma, change, and the general emotional chaos that comes with being human. With a background spanning clinical counseling, higher education, leadership development, special education, and mental health advocacy, I bring both deep expertise and genuine relatability to the therapy process. I have presented nationally on topics like compassion fatigue, resilience, and trauma, but believe some of the best therapeutic work still happens in simple, honest conversations where people finally feel heard.

My approach to therapy

Committing to self-care is a big step and I am excited to begin that journey with you! For the past two plus decades, I’ve worked with individuals across the age span in a variety of settings. My approach is holistic and I work to create meaningful change across all domains: physical, mental, emotional, spiritual, and social. We will work collaboratively to establish achievable goals and assess progress consistently to assure that you meet them. I will work with you so that you find a sense of deep meaning in your life and develop a practical set of skills to help you overcome your current obstacles and achieve your goals.

What you can expect from me

Change takes time. And patience. Whether you are struggling with anxiety, feeling emotionally exhausted, navigating a major life transition, or simply trying to reconnect with yourself, I create a space that is supportive, authentic, and judgment-free. Therapy with me is equal parts insight, strategy, encouragement, and the occasional reminder that coping skills are much easier to talk about than they are to practice on a Monday afternoon.
