Hi! My name is Ali and I am a licensed independent clinical social worker. I have about ten years of experience in end-of-life care and individual therapy. I offer both in-person and virtual sessions, and I currently focus on adults ages 18+, struggling with anxiety, depression, grief, ADHD and more. As a social worker, I believe in accepting and advocating for clients of all backgrounds, identities, beliefs, and preferences.
My approach to therapy is very relaxed and welcoming. I like to start by getting to know you and your unique story. Eventually I will gently challenge the thought processes that have contributed to your mental health concerns. The approach I use in therapy is eclectic and fully depends on your goals and the style you prefer. I also welcome feedback if you feel that a new method or direction is needed!
My goal is for you to leave sessions feeling understood and heard, feeling motivated to make any necessary changes, and feeling like a weight has been lifted off your shoulders. Some sessions will feel more productive than others, but I promise that each session is a necessary stepping stone toward your goals.
