Great to meet you!

I have been in private practice as a psychologist for the past 30+ years and I can honestly say that I remain passionate about and dedicated to the work that I do as a therapist. I have a BA in Psychology and Human Biology from Stanford University and a Masters in Public Health from Yale University. My doctorate in Clinical Psychology is from The Graduate Center, C.U.N.Y and I completed training as a psychoanalyst at the NYU Program in Psychotherapy and Psychoanalysis.

My approach to therapy

I believe therapy is a collaborative process that takes time and effort for real change to occur. I see myself as embodying a contemporary psychodynamic/insight-oriented approach, one in which I am actively engaged in creating an open dialogue and a mutually respectful and trusting relationship with all my clients.

What you can expect from me

My clients can expect to come away from our sessions feeling understood and supported. I believe insight, self-awareness, mindfulness and compassion towards oneself and others are at the heart of healing and living a joyful and fulfilling life.
