Great to meet you!

I'm an LCSW and trained birth doula who has spent more than 20 years walking alongside families during some of life's most tender and turbulent moments - from pregnancy and birth through the exhaustion, transformation, and identity shifts of early parenthood. I specialize in maternal mental health, trauma, and the kind of parenting challenges that don't have easy answers.

My work is rooted in attachment theory, trauma-informed care, and evidence-based frameworks like ARC and Brazelton Touchpoints - but more than any model, I follow your lead. I've sat with families navigating postpartum depression, birth trauma, infant loss, parenting stress, and co-occurring mental health and substance use challenges. I bring my whole self to this work: clinically trained, culturally aware, and genuinely invested in your wellbeing - not just your symptoms.

I also have deep experience supporting neurodivergent individuals and families managing executive function challenges. I accept Horizon Blue Cross and Blue Shield of New Jersey, Aetna, Cigna, Carelon, Amerihealth, and more, and I am committed to making quality mental health care accessible - not just for those who can afford it.

My approach to therapy

I don't believe in one-size-fits-all therapy. My approach draws from trauma-informed frameworks, attachment science, and relational models - but most importantly, it's shaped by you. We work at your pace, building a relationship grounded in honesty, collaboration, and real safety (not just the word "safe space").

For parents and families, I pay close attention to the relational world between caregiver and child, because healing one often heals the other. I'm also trained as a birth doula, which means I understand birth not just as a medical event but as a transformative experience that stays in the body, sometimes in ways that need unpacking long after the baby comes home.

Sessions are telehealth-based, which means you can show up from your couch, your car, or wherever works for you - no commute, no childcare scramble, no barrier to getting the support you need.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is really about getting to know each other. I'll ask about what's brought you here, what your life looks like right now, and what's worked or hasn't worked before. You'll have space to ask me anything too - about my background, my approach, or what therapy with me actually looks like in practice.

There's no pressure to have it all figured out or to show up any particular way. Most clients tell me they leave the first session feeling heard in a way they haven't been in a long time. From there, we'll build a plan together - one that's tailored to your goals, your life, and your timeline. Whether you're in crisis or just quietly struggling, you belong here.
