Great to meet you!

After more than a decade working in hospitals, community mental health, crisis response, detention settings, private practice, and non-profits serving survivors of domestic violence and sexual abuse, one truth has remained constant: we all struggle.

Our stories may be different. Some people carry the weight of trauma, anxiety, or depression. Others are navigating grief, life transitions, relationship challenges, or simply feeling overwhelmed. Whether you've received a mental health diagnosis or you're going through a stressful time in your life, therapy offers something valuable—a place to be understood, to heal, and to grow.

My approach to therapy

Not every client benefits from the same style of treatment, so I like to use an eclectic approach. I draw from person-centered therapy, trauma-informed care, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), attachment-based therapy, psychodynamic principles, expressive therapies, and incorporate interventions from approaches such as Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Internal Family Systems (IFS), when they best fit a client's needs. Rather than asking you to fit into a particular therapeutic model, we will work collaboratively to discover what approaches help you feel understood and meet your therapeutic goals.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, we will get to know one another, to see if I am a good fit for you. Because

ultimately, you are the one doing the courageous work to grow and change. My role isn't to "fix" you—it's to provide knowledge, perspective, encouragement, and practical tools while walking alongside you. I will always meet you with empathy, and do my best to make therapy a place you feel safe to be your unfiltered, genuine self.
