Great to meet you!

Life can often feel like a series of overwhelming transitions, leaving you feeling disconnected or unsure of your next step. I provide a dedicated space for adults (22+) to slow down, reflect, and move forward with renewed clarity.

Whether you are navigating the complexities of trauma, managing a mood disorder, or facing significant life changes, my goal is to help you transform "feeling stuck" into a journey of intentional growth.

How We Will Work Together

My approach is relational, honest, and depth-oriented. Rather than just addressing surface-level symptoms, we will explore the unspoken beliefs and past experiences that quietly shape your daily life. By learning to listen to what your emotions are communicating, you can begin to respond to life’s challenges in ways that promote genuine healing and authentic connection.

Specialized Support for Couples

In addition to individual therapy, I specialize in marriage and pre-marital counseling. I help couples at all stages build resilient foundations, repair emotional disconnections, and foster a deeper sense of intimacy and mutual understanding.

**Please note: While I accept insurance for individual therapy, all couples counseling is private-pay only. Insurance does not cover relationship-focused therapy.

Your Journey Starts Here

You deserve a space where you are fully seen, heard, and empowered. No matter where you are in your journey, I am here to support you in creating meaningful, lasting change.

My approach to therapy

My Approach to Therapy: Uncovering Your Path to Healing

Therapy is more than just talking; it is a collaborative process of discovery. Our work begins by gently exploring the experiences that brought you here, creating a clear map of the landscape you’re navigating.

1. Identifying the "Thinking Traps" Together, we will pinpoint the emotional triggers and "thinking traps"—those reflexive, often unconscious patterns—that keep you feeling stuck in cycles of anxiety or pain. By bringing these to light, they begin to lose their power over your daily life.

2. Healing Beneath the Surface True change happens when we go deeper. We will look at the core beliefs and past experiences that may be quietly driving your current struggles. This isn't just about understanding your past; it’s about relearning and reframing it, allowing you to replace old wounds with a new, empowered sense of self.

3. Evolving with You Your needs may change as you grow, and our sessions will reflect that. We will regularly check in on your progress to ensure our work remains focused, effective, and deeply aligned with the life you want to build.

The Goal: To move beyond simply "coping" and toward a way of living where you feel more connected to yourself and more resilient in your relationships.

What you can expect from me

Your First Session: Laying the Foundation

Stepping into therapy can feel like a big move, so our first session is designed to be a comfortable, structured space where you can feel heard and supported from the start.

For Individuals: A Space for Your Story Our first meeting is all about you. We’ll explore your journey, the challenges you’re currently facing, and—most importantly—what you hope your life will look like on the other side of healing. While I’ll ask questions to understand your experiences, this is a collaborative conversation; you’re encouraged to ask me anything as well. You’ll walk away not just with a sense of being understood, but with initial reflections to begin your path forward.

For Couples: Mapping Your Way Back to Each Other In our first session, we start creating a "Relationship Road Map." We’ll look at the history that brought you together, the current hurdles you’re facing, and the goals you share for the future.

  • The Assessment: To provide immediate value, I offer a personalized assessment tool by the end of the session. This helps us objectively identify your relationship’s unique strengths and growth areas.
  • The Goal: We move beyond the "blame game" to focus on your dynamic, setting the stage for reconnection, deeper understanding, and lasting intimacy.
  • Please note: While I accept insurance for individual therapy, all couples counseling is private-pay only. Insurance does not cover relationship-focused therapy."

What you can expect: A professional, warm environment where you leave with a clear plan and the reassurance that you no longer have to navigate these challenges alone.
