Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m Alizea Farquharson, a compassionate and collaborative therapist dedicated to helping adults navigate life’s challenges with clarity and confidence. I offer a warm, culturally responsive space where you can explore your thoughts, emotions, and patterns without judgment. Together, we’ll work toward healing, resilience, and meaningful change on your terms. I work with adults who may be feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or navigating major life transitions. Many of my clients are managing anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, or exploring their cultural identity and sense of self. Whether you're processing past experiences or striving for personal growth, I offer a supportive space where we can unpack what’s holding you back and help you move forward with greater clarity and confidence. My communication style is warm, attentive, and collaborative. I strive to create a space where you feel safe, respected, and genuinely understood. In session, I listen deeply, ask thoughtful questions, and offer honest, compassionate reflections.

My approach to therapy

My approach is grounded in empathy, curiosity, and collaboration. I believe therapy should feel like a partnership. One where you feel seen, heard, and empowered. I draw from evidence-based practices like CBT, DBT, mindfulness, and trauma-informed care, while always tailoring our work to your unique story and needs. As a first-generation American, I bring a culturally responsive lens to our work, creating space to explore identity, intergenerational dynamics, and the search for belonging.

What you can expect from me

I help clients reach their goals by first creating a space where they can clearly define what healing, growth, or change looks like for them. Together, we break those goals into manageable steps and explore the thoughts, emotions, and patterns that may be getting in the way. I integrate evidence-based tools with a flexible, person-centered approach—adjusting as we go to make sure the process feels empowering, supportive, and aligned with your evolving needs.
