Great to meet you!

My approach to therapy is collaborative, structured, and deeply personalized. I see clients as experts in their own lives, and I work alongside them to understand the patterns driving their anxiety, depression, trauma responses, and relationship challenges. My goal is to offer clarity, practical skills, and a supportive space where clients feel both understood and empowered.

My style is warm, direct, and engaged. I’m not a silent therapist—I provide active guidance while helping you build insight, emotional regulation, and tools that support lasting change. Teens appreciate my steady, grounded presence and my ability to help them navigate school stress, mood concerns, and emotional overwhelm. Adults often tell me they feel seen, supported, and challenged in meaningful ways. Couples value my structured, research-informed approach to strengthening communication, rebuilding trust, and improving connection.

My strengths include helping clients break out of unhelpful patterns, manage intense emotions, communicate more effectively, and reconnect with their sense of confidence and direction. Whether working with a teen, an individual adult, or a couple, I tailor therapy to each person’s goals and needs.

I’m trained in CBT and CPT, and I integrate couples-focused approaches such as the Gottman Method and IBCT. I work extensively with teens managing emotional regulation, school stress, and mood concerns; adults seeking clarity, stability, and resilience; and couples looking to strengthen communication, trust, and connection.

My goal is to provide a grounded, supportive space where clients feel understood and equipped to create meaningful, lasting change.

My approach to therapy

I view clients as the experts in their own lives and work alongside them to identify patterns that contribute to anxiety, depression, trauma responses, and relationship distress. My style emphasizes clarity, partnership, and practical skill-building—helping clients strengthen emotional regulation, communication, and resilience.

What you can expect from me

In your first session, you can expect a structured, welcoming space focused on understanding what brings you in and what you hope to change. I’ll ask about your current concerns, your history, and any patterns you’ve noticed in your mood, relationships, or daily functioning. This isn’t an interview—it’s a conversation designed to help you feel understood and to give us a shared starting point.

I’ll also explain how I work, what the treatment process typically looks like, and answer any questions you may have about therapy.

By the end of the session, you’ll have a sense of direction, a clearer understanding of next steps, and a feeling of what it’s like to work together. My aim is for you to leave feeling grounded, supported, and confident that you’re in the right place.
