Great to meet you!

Hi, I'm Allegra, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who works with young adults (18-25) navigating the pressures of this stage of life. Whether you're dealing with anxiety, a big transition, relationship stress, or just feeling stuck, my goal is to offer a space where you can be honest and feel understood.

I have a Master of Social Work from USC and a bachelor's degree in psychology from UCLA. Over nearly 20 years, I've worked with teens, families, and communities in clinical, school, and community settings. I've also mentored young people and advocated alongside them, helping them build confidence and be heard. That work is why I now focus my practice on young adults.

I support clients with anxiety, depression, life transitions, identity, relationships, and stress. My approach is warm, collaborative, and empowering. I use CBT, strengths-based, and mindfulness-based approaches to help you build skills and get clear on what you want.

You don't need to have it all figured out to start. If you're ready to talk, I'd be glad to meet you where you are.

On a personal note, in my spare time, I love to travel, watch thrillers, and spend time with family/friends.

My approach to therapy

I see therapy as a partnership. My role is to listen without judgment, help you make sense of what you're feeling, and work with you on practical steps toward the life you want. You're the expert on your own experience, and I'm here to support you.

As a social worker, I look at the whole person. Your thoughts and feelings matter, and so do your relationships, family, work, finances, and community. Many young adults are carrying a lot at once, and I help you sort through it so it feels more manageable.

My style is warm, down to earth, and collaborative. Sessions are a mix of talking things through and building skills you can use in daily life. I use modalities, such as CBT, strengths-based, and mindfulness approaches, and I adjust to what fits you best.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is a chance for us to get to know each other. I'll ask about what brought you in, what's going on in your life right now, and what you'd like to be different. You can share as much or as little as you're comfortable with, and there's no pressure to have the right words.

I aim to create a calm, judgment-free space where you can be yourself. We'll also talk about how therapy works, and you're welcome to ask me anything.

By the end of the session, we'll have a clear sense of your goals. Many people leave feeling a bit lighter and more hopeful, just from having someone listen. If it feels like a good fit, we'll set up next steps together. If not, that's okay too.
