Great to meet you!

Hello, I'm Allen Davis. I'm dedicated to helping all my clients be the best version of themselves and evolve beyond their present concerns. My approach to therapy is grounded in the belief that a strong, balanced mind, body, and spirit are essential for overall well-being. I strive to show my clients the value of having a counselor in their corner to support them through life's challenges, using the knowledge and skills I've gained through intensive study and diverse life experiences. You don't need to face challenges alone to be your best, and I'm here to help you grow and thrive. I was born in Hartford, Connecticut, and graduated Cum Laude from Springfield College, MA in 2008. My journey has been enriched by my service as a U.S. Army Reserve Supply Technician and my military education, which includes the Ordnance Officer Basic Course, Naval School Explosive Ordnance Disposal, and the Combined Logistics Captains Career Course. In addition to my military background, I hold a Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology with a concentration in clinical mental health counseling and a minor in criminal justice, a master’s degree in organizational improvement and leadership, a second master's in Higher Education Administration, and a third master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. Currently, I'm working on a PhD in Counseling Education and Supervision.

My approach to therapy

I support individuals navigating a wide range of challenges, including addiction, anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, relationship struggles, and life transitions. I also have experience working with military and veteran communities, as well as those facing issues related to cultural identity, intimacy, spirituality, and sleep. Whether you're working through something specific or looking to strengthen your overall mental well-being, I'm here to walk alongside you with empathy, expertise, and care.

What you can expect from me

Working with me means you'll have a dedicated partner to help you navigate life's ups and downs. My goal is to create a safe, supportive environment where you can explore your concerns and work towards meaningful change. If you're ready to take the next step in your journey, I invite you to reach out and see how we can work together to achieve your goals.
