I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with Diagnostic Privilege and Certified School Counselor in New York State, honored to work with adults, teens, and couples at my office in Kingston, NY and virtually. With close to a decade of counseling experience and am particularly passionate about working with Neurodivergent individuals, teens and emerging adults, those navigating the perinatal stage and parenting, and with women and others experiencing abuse or past trauma within intimate partner relationships.
I create space for mental health awareness and care rooted in mindfulness practice and the concept of emotional-intelligence as a set of skills that can be developed and strengthened throughout the lifespan. In a trauma-informed, culturally- and person-centered manner, responding to the unique needs of each client, I thoughtfully integrate elements of mindfulness, somatic, emotion focused, and cognitive and dialectical behavioral therapies. As a visual artist and designer, I bring my value of creative practice as a tool for knowing and loving the self, and incorporate expressive arts for clients with whom this resonates,
In our first session, my hope is to begin a vital foundation of rapport, safety, and regard that is the therapeutic relationship. I honor all clients as expert in their own lives, and with this at the forefront, I will ask intentional questions to understand the context, history, and current issues that inform your pursuit of therapy.
