Great to meet you!

I believe many women have learned how to be everything for everyone else while slowly losing sight of themselves.

From the outside, life may look successful. You’re responsible, dependable, and capable. People admire your strength. But underneath all of that, you may feel anxious, emotionally worn down, disconnected, or simply tired of carrying so much on your own.

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, I help women make sense of what they’re carrying so they can begin living with greater peace, clarity, and intention. My work is grounded in evidence-based therapy and rooted in a Christian worldview because I believe God cares about every part of our well-being. Emotional healing and spiritual growth don’t compete with one another. They often grow together.

You won’t find pressure to have the right words or the perfect answers here. My hope is that therapy becomes a place where you can slow down, become more honest with yourself, and remember who God created you to be before life taught you who you had to become.

My approach to therapy

I believe healing isn’t about becoming someone new. More often, it’s about returning to who God created you to be beneath the pressure, expectations, pain, and survival patterns that life can place on us.

My approach is both practical and reflective. Together, we’ll explore the thoughts, beliefs, relationships, and experiences that have shaped the way you see yourself and the world around you. As we gain insight, we’ll also develop practical tools to help you respond differently, create healthier patterns, and move toward lasting change.

I draw from evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Attachment-Based Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Strength-Based Therapy. Rather than following a one-size-fits-all approach, I tailor therapy to your unique needs, goals, and experiences.

Because my practice is rooted in a Christian worldview, faith is not separate from the work we do together. I believe emotional healing and spiritual growth can exist hand in hand. My hope is to help you experience greater peace, deeper self-awareness, healthier relationships, and the confidence to live in alignment with the life God is calling you to.

What you can expect from me

Starting therapy can feel intimidating, but there’s no pressure to have everything figured out before you arrive. Our first session is simply a chance for us to get to know one another.

We’ll talk about what brought you to therapy, what’s been weighing on you, and what you’re hoping will be different. I’ll ask questions to better understand your story, your relationships, your faith, and the experiences that have shaped you. You can share as much or as little as you’re comfortable sharing. We can take things one step at a time.

We’ll also spend time identifying your goals and discussing what healing could look like for you. My hope is that you leave your first session feeling heard, encouraged, and confident that you don’t have to carry everything on your own anymore.
