Great to meet you!

I work with clients ages 13 and up, couples, and families navigating grief, loss, PTSD, men’s issues, trauma, substance use, relationship stress, and seasons where life feels heavier than usual. Some clients come in after a specific loss or painful experience. Others are trying to make sense of anxiety, depression, identity questions, family patterns, or the pressure to keep functioning when things do not feel okay inside.

My background spans addiction recovery, group facilitation, crisis work, and private practice, so I am comfortable sitting with both everyday stress and the harder things people often feel they have to hide. My style is direct, engaged, and real. I use humor when it fits, show up as a full person, and genuinely care about helping you sort through what feels heavy, confusing, or stuck.

My approach to therapy

My approach is trauma-informed, integrative, and flexible. I do not believe one method works for everyone. I draw from somatic approaches, IFS concepts, attachment-based therapy, ACT, mindfulness-based work, solution-focused tools, and other modalities depending on what fits you best.

I pay attention to both your story and your nervous system, especially when grief, trauma, or PTSD have made it hard to feel grounded. I have also had specialized exposure to Ketamine Assisted Treatment and Psychedelic Assisted Treatment, which has deepened my holistic perspective on healing. Therapy with me is practical, honest, and collaborative, not clinical distance or one-size-fits-all advice.

What you can expect from me

The first session includes some intake and history, but it will not feel like filling out a form for an hour. I want to understand what brought you here, what has been going on, and what you hope will change.

If you come in carrying something urgent or heavy, we will make space for that. We can always come back to details later. What matters most is that you feel heard, that we start building trust, and that we get a clear sense of what support would actually be helpful for you. If I am not the right fit, I will be honest about that too, because getting you the right care matters more than filling a spot on my calendar.
