Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m Allison!

I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in Florida (MH23088) and hold credentials as a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional Level 1 and 2 (CCTP I/II), a Certified Clinical Anxiety Treatment Professional (CCATP), and an Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) Trained Professional.

A bit about my approach to therapy

I specialize in treating post-traumatic stress disorders and complex traumas, anxiety and depression, attachment disorders, somatic work, inner child healing, shadow work, and resiliency while incorporating Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), and Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) approaches to our therapy work.

What you can expect from our first session

Using a holistic, integrative approach, I can help you learn to manage, reduce, & even overcome your struggles. We’ll get to the root of what’s going on – not just treat the symptoms with Band-Aids. We’ll explore the underlying causes & triggers, & how your thoughts might worsen them. You’ll learn coping strategies to help your mind & body stay calm & focused as you go through the ups & downs. Therapy will give you the resilience you need & to open the door to creating a new sense of yourself.
