Great to meet you!

I’m Allison, a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and Board Certified Art Therapist (ATR-BC). I work with adults navigating trauma, anxiety, life transitions, grief, relationships, and traumatic brain injuries. I believe therapy offers us an opportunity to slow down, regulate, get curious, and explore what’s underneath. My role is not to fix, but to create a collaborative space where you can uncover what’s already within you, recognize your resilience, and move forward with greater confidence and self-understanding. Through genuine connection, thoughtful curiosity, and creative exploration, you can cultivate growth.

My approach to therapy

My practice is grounded in a strengths-based, trauma-informed and client-centered approach. I recognize that our thoughts, feelings, and relationships are shaped not only by our individual experiences, but also by the systems and environments around us. Together, we'll explore your experiences, build on your strengths, and create meaningful change at a pace that feels right for you.

One way I bring this approach into our work is through art therapy, which I offer alongside talk therapy. Art can provide another way to connect with and express experiences and emotions that may be difficult to put into words. Whether through conversation, creative expression, or a combination of both, therapy is tailored to your goals, needs, and comfort level.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is an opportunity to get to know one another, discuss what brings you to therapy, and begin identifying your goals and strengths. Together, we'll create a plan that fits your needs and supports your growth. My hope is that you'll leave feeling understood, empowered, and confident in the direction of your therapeutic journey.
