Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m Allison!

Think of me as your down-to-earth guide with a knack for turning life’s challenges into opportunities for growth (with a side of humor when we need it!).

I’ve spent over a fourteen years helping clients tackle anxiety, mood disorders, relationships, attachment issues, trauma, and life transitions and love working with children and adolescents as well. My approach is genuine, compassionate, and always tailored to you.

Fun fact about me: I live at the beach and have 3 kittens and a goofy dog.

Let’s create a space where you feel comfortable, heard, and maybe even smile along the way as you take your next steps towards healing!

My approach to therapy

Life is hard enough—you shouldn't have to pretend you have it all together in therapy, too.

Let's be honest—starting therapy can feel a little awkward. Meeting a complete stranger and talking about the hardest parts of your life? That's a big ask. My goal is to make that first conversation feel a whole lot easier.

I believe therapy doesn't have to feel stiff or intimidating to be effective. Some sessions are deep. Some are emotional. Some involve laughing at the wonderfully weird ways our brains work. (Sometimes all three happen in the same hour.)

My style is warm, laid-back, and collaborative. I combine evidence-based approaches like ACT and DBT with genuine conversation, practical strategies, and a healthy dose of compassion. Rather than simply talking about your struggles, we'll work together to build real-life tools you can actually use between sessions.

Whether you're navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship challenges, codependency, ADHD, or simply feeling stuck, you'll find a space where you don't have to filter yourself or worry about being judged. You can show up exactly as you are.

I want you to leave each session feeling lighter than when you walked in, with more clarity, more confidence, and a growing belief that change really is possible. We'll celebrate your wins, work through the hard stuff together, and maybe even laugh a little along the way.

Therapy isn't about having someone tell you how to live your life. It's about having someone in your corner while you figure out what works best for you.

If you're looking for a therapist who's authentic, approachable, and invested in helping you create lasting change, I'd love to meet you.

You don't have to have it all figured out before reaching out. You just have to be willing to start. I'll meet you where you are.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is all about you. It's a chance for us to get to know each other, talk about what brought you to therapy, and explore what you're hoping to gain from the process. There's no pressure to have it all figured out—I promise!

I believe you're the expert on your own life. My role isn't to tell you what I think is best, but to help you uncover what feels right for you. Together, we'll create a personalized approach that fits your unique needs, goals, and values. As you grow and life changes, we'll adapt along the way, making sure therapy continues to meet you where you are.

Think of us as teammates—you bring your experiences, and I'll bring the tools, support, and a fresh perspective. Together, we'll help you move toward the life you want with greater confidence, clarity, and self-compassion.
