Allison is a specialist in working with clients experiencing symptoms of Obsessive CompulsiveDisorder (OCD) and utilize Exposure Response Prevention (ERP) to help clients respond in way that they haven't been used to with their intrusive thoughts.
Allison had worked with many subtypes of OCD, but the subtypes she is most familiar with are Contamination OCD, "Just Right" OCD, Harm OCD, and Sexual Obsessive Thoughts.
In addition to the outpatient setting, Allison has worked at the Partial Hospitalization Program level of care with clients who were experiencing severe symptoms of OCD.
Allison also has experience working with clients with depression, anxiety (social anxiety, performance anxiety, perfectionism), trauma, trichotillomania (hair pulling), and excoriation disorder (skinpicking). Allison also has a lot of experience working with clients that have Autism SpectrumDisorder (ASD).
