Great to meet you!

Welcome!

Allison is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) and a compassionate advocate for mental health and healing. She is committed to creating a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment where clients feel heard, valued, and empowered to grow. With over 10 years of counseling experience, Allison provides individual therapy for adolescents and adults navigating challenges such as anxiety, depression, grief, and suicidal ideation. She approaches each client with empathy, cultural sensitivity, and deep respect for their unique experiences and personal journey.

Allison earned her Bachelor of Science in Psychology and minor in Health from Georgia College and her master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from Springfield College. Throughout her career, she has worked in a variety of settings, including juvenile detention centers, therapeutic group homes, school-based programs, nonprofit organizations, and private practice. These experiences have equipped her to effectively support individuals from diverse backgrounds and across a wide range of life circumstances. In addition to her clinical work, Allison provides psychoeducation and coping strategies in school and community settings and serves on the Program Committee for New Beginnings, a nonprofit dedicated to empowering individuals and families to overcome homelessness, poverty, and crisis.

Allison’s goal is to equip clients with the tools they need to experience greater clarity, confidence, and inner peace. She is passionate about helping individuals grow, heal, and move toward a more fulfilling and balanced life. She would be honored to walk alongside you as you navigate life’s challenges and work toward becoming the best version of yourself.

My approach to therapy

Allison utilizes an integrative, evidence-based approach to treatment, incorporating Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused CBT, Motivational Interviewing, Solution-Focused Therapy, mindfulness practices, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). Her work focuses on present-day concerns while equipping clients with practical tools to shift unhelpful thinking patterns, strengthen emotional regulation, and build long-term coping skills. She has extensive experience supporting individuals managing anxiety disorders, depression, ADHD, behavioral challenges, substance use concerns, stress, and life transitions.
