Allison Kramer

My path into mental health counseling has taken me through several different practice settings, and each experience has shaped the kind of therapist I am today. I started my career at a group practice in Tampa while working toward full licensure, which gave me a strong foundation in clinical work and the value of consistency in the therapeutic relationship. From there, I expanded to telehealth, eventually building a full caseload through national platforms. I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Florida and Iowa and am currently pursuing licensure in additional states. I work entirely virtually, which allows me to serve clients who need flexibility while still receiving the consistent, reliable care that every person in therapy deserves.

I tailor my approach to each client because no two people arrive in therapy with the same story or the same needs. I believe strongly in showing up consistently for my clients. Whether that means being flexible when life gets complicated, picking up right where we left off, or simply making sure sessions feel like a place where you can be fully honest, I am in your corner. I draw on evidence-based techniques while staying genuinely curious about what makes each person tick, and I work to make every session count.

Outside of sessions, I am a mom of two young kids navigating my own version of work-life balance, which gives me real perspective on what it means to juggle competing demands while still showing up fully for yourself. I believe therapy works best when you feel truly heard, and I bring that same dedication to every client relationship. I look forward to seeing if we are a good fit.
