Hi! I am a Licensed Clinical Psychologist in New York and Florida with my home base in Florida. I obtained a Masters in Educational Psychology as well as Clinical Psychology and then earned my Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from The Chicago School of Psychology. I have worked in private practice for 7 years and did 6 years of work in the hospital setting prior to that.
I approach therapy with clients by first building a warm environment upon which a strong therapeutic rapport can be built. I want to learn about you and help you learn about yourself. I am trained in psychodynamic approaches to therapy and I have a lot of experience working with children and adolescents, young adults, parents/couples as well as families.
Clients can expect feeling validated and heard. I strive to provide all of my clients with the most unbiased, nonjudgemental environment to engage in therapy. Clients can walk away from our sessions feeling proud and unashamed of who they are.
