In your first session with me, the focus is on getting to know you — your experiences, your challenges, and what you hope to get out of therapy. We’ll take the time to build a sense of safety and trust, so you can feel comfortable sharing at your own pace. I’ll ask questions to understand your story and the patterns or struggles that brought you here, but this is not an interrogation — it’s a conversation. By the end of the session, you’ll have a clearer sense of how we might work together and a sense of direction for next steps. Most importantly, you’ll leave feeling heard, seen, and understood.
