Great to meet you!

Hello! My name is Allison and I am a Licensed Progressional Clinical Counselor (LPCC-S) with the state of Ohio. I graduated from the University of Dayton with my Master’s in Clinical and Mental Health Counseling in 2016 and have actively been practicing since.

The role of a therapist is one of the most rewarding and meaningful jobs to me and it is one I do not take lightly and something I am very honored to get to do as my job.

My approach to therapy

Whether you’re feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or unsure where to start, I’m here to support you in a way that feels collaborative, honest, and affirming. I bring a laid-back, warm, and sometimes even fun presence into the therapy room. My clients often tell me they feel both safe and challenged—which I take as the highest compliment. I believe therapy should be a place where you can show up as your full self, without fear of judgment, and where real growth is possible. You’ll find I balance empathy and directness, always working to make sure you feel understood and supported while also encouraging meaningful progress.

My work is rooted in evidence-based practices like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Trauma-Focused CBT, Motivational Interviewing (MI), Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR), and the Unified Protocol (UP). I tailor each session to your unique needs and goals.

What you can expect from me

If you’re looking for a therapist who can meet you either authenticity, curiosity, and a sense of humor when it helps— while also guiding you through the hard stuff—I’d be honored to walk aside you!

After meeting for the first time, we can decide together if it is a good fit, if so, then we can work collaboratively to define your specific goals for while we work together.
