Great to meet you!

As a therapist, I have worked with individuals of all ages and backgrounds in New York City. My approach as a therapist is framed by my background as a music therapist combined with elements of depth-oriented psychotherapy and traditional talk therapy. In my work I utilize elements such as dream analysis, free association, and cognitive restructuring. It is my understanding that fostering strong therapeutic relationships is at the forefront of successful psychotherapy work. Within my work as a psychotherapist, I apply a flexible approach to help my clients in whatever ways work for them. Clients find me playful and direct and value my authenticity.

My approach to therapy

My orientation as a therapist is grounded in the belief that trust and connection are paramount in enabling exploration. Through exploration, we can uncover the depths of our inner most selves to heal, realize change, and find peace. Exploration may take the shape of communicating with the various parts of ourselves to better access the unconscious.

What you can expect from me

In our first session it is my aim to get to know you and your needs in therapy. I seek to connect and build a safe and trusting therapeutic space while engaging in conversation about what is most present for you and what you desire from the therapeutic work. At the end of our first session my hope is for you to leave with a sense of clarity and grounding.
