Great to meet you!

Are you a parent, pregnant, or thinking about starting a family? Or, are you in your late teens / early 20s and trying to figure out who you are as you head into adulthood? I'm passionate about the process of becoming - whether that's matrescence (the transition to motherhood & parenthood), or adolescence (the transition to adulthood). I have over 10 years of experience working with young people as an international/wilderness guide and clinician. My own experiences with pregnancy, postpartum and parenthood led me to seek out specialized training in supporting folks in this transition. Current openings for in-person therapy on Thursdays at my office located in South Denver near DU. Schedule a free consult call with me to see if it's a good fit!

My approach to therapy

Together we will identify your values, so your choices start to feel like yours. We'll learn tangible skills to sit with the unknown and pay attention to what your body is telling you in the room — building self-awareness and self-compassion. There may be moments where I ask if we can pause, or go back to something we moved past too quickly. We'll get curious about the many parts of you and find where they're carrying old roles, fears, or outdated versions of who you had to be so that you can show up in this stage with presence, connection and genuine joy.

What you can expect from me

For the first few sessions, my goal is to understand what feels hard right now, your history, and what matters to you. What feels relevant to you is important, and I structure these early sessions more like a conversation and less like an interview. I encourage any questions you have about who I am and my own life experiences and values. I believe it's important to find a therapist that aligns and that you can trust to hold your story.
