Great to meet you!
I was fascinated with human behavior in college, which led me to study Psychology in college. I received my B.A. in Psychology in 2008 from Earlham College and Master of Social Work, in 2020 from Chicago State University. I am currently a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and enjoy providing therapy services to a large range of ages and populations.
I also have experience as a case manager in the health care system and experience working with children in the school system and with teens and adults who need mental health services/resources. I enjoy providing my clients with tools/resources that they can add to their mental health toolbox/treatment plan that can used as soon as our session ended.
My goal as an effective therapist is to create a warm, welcoming and safe environment for all of my clients. I use several therapy modalities including Cognitive Behavior Therapy and Solution Focused Therapy. My specialty population includes children, teenagers and adults.
The mental health diagnosis that I treat includes depression, anxiety, grief, OCD and martial problems. When I am not at work, I enjoy traveling to different countries and yoga, shopping and reading.
