Great to meet you!

If you're navigating anxiety, trauma, grief, or a major life transition, you don't have to have it all figured out before reaching out. I'm Allison, a Licensed Professional Counselor in Georgia specializing in helping adults and older adolescents through complex trauma, first responder stress, and life's hardest seasons. I use EMDR and CBT within a warm, collaborative framework, and I hold a Christian worldview that informs how I understand healing and hope. Faith can be part of our work together, or not: your process is always led by you.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is warm, collaborative, and grounded in evidence-based care. I focus on creating a safe, supportive space where you can feel understood and move at a pace that feels right for you. I often integrate EMDR, CBT, and a holistic perspective to help clients work through anxiety, trauma, grief, and life transitions.

I also work closely with clients to identify patterns, build coping tools, and strengthen resilience in everyday life. My goal is to support meaningful change while honoring your individual story, values, and goals.

What you can expect from me

In your first session, you can expect a calm, welcoming space where you don’t have to have everything figured out. We’ll spend time talking about what brought you in, what you’re hoping to work on, and any history that feels important for me to understand.

We’ll also begin identifying goals together and discussing what support might look like moving forward. My focus is on helping you feel comfortable, understood, and not rushed as we start the process at your pace.
