Great to meet you!

Hi!

As a Latina Licensed Clinical Social Worker, I am passionate about helping children, adolescents, adults, and families navigate life's challenges. With nearly five years of experience as a school social worker, I have provided individual counseling and support for concerns including anxiety, ADHD, emotional regulation difficulties, impulsive behaviors, stress, and life transitions. My goal is to create a welcoming, nonjudgmental space where clients feel empowered to develop healthy coping skills, build resilience, and achieve meaningful growth.

My approach to therapy

I believe therapy works best when clients feel safe, supported, and genuinely understood. My approach is collaborative, strengths-based, and tailored to each person’s unique experiences and goals. I use evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Solution-Focused Therapy to help clients build practical coping skills, increase self-awareness, and create meaningful, lasting change. Together, we will work toward growth, resilience, and improved well-being.

What you can expect from me

The first session is an opportunity for us to get to know one another and begin building a trusting therapeutic relationship. We will discuss what brings you to therapy, explore your strengths, and identify goals that are important to you. I strive to create a warm, nonjudgmental environment where you can feel comfortable sharing at your own pace. By the end of the session, you can expect to have a clearer understanding of the therapy process and the next steps toward your goals.
