Great to meet you!

My passion for mental health began over a decade ago, while engaging in different advocacy programs that were aimed at reducing the stigma surrounding mental illness. Since then, I have received my Master’s of Science (MS) in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, achieved licensure, and worked with many different populations. I have been a therapist for a university, an Employee Assistance Program, and a managed care organization, and have loved them all.

A bit about my approach to therapy

I take a very open-minded, reflective approach to therapy. While I will help identify realistic and healthy coping skills for any current concerns, I also appreciate the value in looking at the past, and what brought us to where we are now. I aim to be open, warm and caring, while also helping to identify key issues.

What you can expect from our first session

In my sessions, you can expect to lead the way while we explore your current concerns. While I will certainly redirect when appropriate, I also make sure that my sessions are a safe space to explore any and every issue. I will provide various tools and activities to help move you toward your goals.
