Great to meet you!

I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) with specialized training in EMDR trauma therapy. I come to this work with a deep sense of purpose, shaped by my own experience serving in the military and witnessing the profound impact trauma can have on individuals and communities. I’m also a parent who has experienced the loss of a child, which gives me a personal understanding of grief and its long, complex path. I’ve supported a wide range of clients—including veterans, first responders, recently resettled refugees, and children and families in the foster care system. My approach is grounded, compassionate, and integrative—I believe in treating the mind and body as one. Clients often describe me as gentle, direct and deeply supportive.

My approach to therapy

Seeking help is often the hardest part, and if you’re here, you’ve already taken a powerful first step. My role is to walk alongside you with care, curiosity, and respect for your lived experience. I work from a collaborative, person-centered foundation, integrating EMDR, mindfulness, somatic tools, narrative therapy, and energy psychology depending on your unique needs. Sessions are structured but flexible—we'll move at your pace, with space for both deep healing and practical tools you can apply outside of therapy. I see therapy as a process of reconnection: to your body, your story, your strength, and your sense of wholeness.

What you can expect from me

You can expect to leave sessions with greater self-awareness, emotional clarity, and practical tools you can use in daily life. Whether it’s grounding techniques, somatic practices, or new ways of understanding your story, the work we do is meant to support lasting change beyond the therapy room. My goal is to help you feel more empowered, regulated, and connected to yourself. Over time, many clients report feeling stronger, calmer, and more capable of facing life on their own terms.
