Great to meet you!

I am licensed in both Kentucky and Indiana, and my professional and life experiences provide me with a comprehensive understanding of lifespan issues.

I am committed to helping you meet your goals and often assign homework to better understand the challenges you face and determine the best ways to work through them.

Please note that I am a solo practitioner. Individuals requiring intensive care, such as those experiencing suicidal ideation or needing case management, should consider practices with broader support services—such as community mental health centers or Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP) through local psychiatric hospitals—prior to beginning individual therapy with me.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is a partnership where we utilize our collective strengths to foster meaningful change. By exploring the past and understanding the present, we can establish a clear direction for your future goals with professional support.

I am trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART). ART offers a fresh perspective on traditional talk therapy, particularly for addressing those problems that include disturbing images. It does require in person meetings however. You can learn more about this approach at https://acceleratedresolutiontherapy.com/.

If you would like to see if we are a good fit before booking, please feel free to contact me to schedule a 15-minute consultation.

What you can expect from me

My practice focuses on providing empathy, humor, and fresh perspectives to help you gain insight into your circumstances and achieve a higher quality of life. I specialize in improving mental health outcomes for adults diagnosed with life stressors and substance use disorders, including those utilizing Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT). I offer both individual and group therapy, and while I occasionally provide family therapy, I work exclusively with adult clients.

My goal is to provide a motivating presence that supports your journey toward improved well-being.
