Great to meet you!

You’ve been holding everything together for everyone else for so long that somewhere along the way, you stopped feeling like yourself. Between work, relationships, motherhood, and daily stress, you’re exhausted from carrying so much on your own.

As women, we often put ourselves last until eventually something gives. You may feel overwhelmed, emotionally drained, anxious, disconnected, or like you can never fully catch your breath anymore. Therapy can help you slow down, put some of that weight down, and feel more grounded and like yourself again.

You don’t have to keep running on empty.

Hey - I'm Allison! I have a Masters Degree in Social Work from the University of Pittsburgh and have been working as a counselor and clinical supervisor for over a decade. I love collaborating with women on navigating life changes and feelings of overwhelm, indecision, sadness, anxiety and addiction.

My approach to therapy

Your time is valuable which is why I only use therapy that is evidenced based - science has shown that these methods WORK - to help you feel better quicker! You are unique but I often find Cognitive Behavior Therapy (how your thoughts/feelings/actions go together) and Motivational Interviewing to be the most effective with clients.

What you can expect from me

After your session, you'll feel like a weight has been lifted off of your shoulders. You'll have a plan to deal with life's challenges.
