Allison L. Smith, CEO and founder of Our Lives Counseling, LLC, is a nationally certified (NCC) Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), a Registered Play Therapist (RPT). She received her Bachelor of Arts degree from Texas Tech University in 1993 and her Master of Education in School Counseling from Lamar University in 2014. In 2017, she received a Certificate of Counseling and Development from the Clinical Mental Health department of Lamar University.

My approach to therapy

With a person-centered foundational approach, Allison Smith inclusively affirms and supports within a genuine therapeutic relationship. She supports LGBTQIA+ community, disorder management, trauma recovery, executive functioning skills acquisition, as well as character development, healthy habit building, and stress management.
