Great to meet you!

Over the years working in inpatient, partial hospitalization (PHP), and outpatient settings, I've developed a passion for helping people reclaim their time/energy/happiness from eating disorders, perfectionism, people pleasing, and other concerns stifling their power. I became a Certified Intuitive Eating Counselor so I could specially serve those who might not have a "full-blown" eating disorder but aren't on good terms with food or their body. I'm also IFS trained and help clients heal parts of them who've become burdened by past experiences.

My approach to therapy

I firmly believe that much of "the work" happens between sessions, so I often give homework to keep things flowing. Humor and sarcasm are welcome. I'm known for frequent philosophical questions, waving the flag of self-compassion, and challenging clients to set boundaries.

What you can expect from me

My goal is for my clients to know they can be themselves (skip the makeup and formalities!) and say what's real without judgment.
