Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m a dual-certified Family Nurse Practitioner and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, trained at the University of California, San Francisco School of Nursing and I have been practicing for almost a decade.

I take a holistic, whole-person approach to care, recognizing how closely mental and physical health are connected. I work with adolescents and adults experiencing anxiety, depression, ADHD, trauma, mood disorders, and substance use, and aim to create a space where you feel heard, supported, and actively involved in your care.

My approach to therapy

My approach to care is collaborative, holistic, and patient-centered. I believe mental health is deeply connected to physical health, lifestyle, and life experiences, so I take a whole-person approach when developing treatment plans. I work closely with each patient to understand their goals, preferences, and values, and we make decisions together.

I integrate evidence-based medication management with attention to sleep, nutrition, stress, relationships, and overall well-being. When appropriate, I incorporate complementary and lifestyle-based approaches, and I aim to use medications thoughtfully and effectively.

I also take a nonjudgmental, supportive approach, especially when working with individuals navigating substance use, trauma, or complex life transitions. My goal is to create a space where patients feel heard, respected, and empowered, and to provide care that is both practical and sustainable for their daily lives.

What you can expect from me

In your first session, we’ll focus on getting to know you and understanding what’s bringing you in. I’ll ask about your current concerns, symptoms, and relevant medical and mental health history, as well as your lifestyle, stressors, and support system. This helps me get a full picture so we can create a thoughtful and individualized plan.

We’ll also talk about your goals—what you’re hoping to feel or change—and begin discussing treatment options together. When appropriate, this may include medication, lifestyle strategies, and other supportive approaches. I’ll explain everything clearly and make sure you have space to ask questions.

Most importantly, the first session is an opportunity to see if it feels like a good fit. My goal is for you to feel comfortable, heard, and supported from the very beginning.
