Great to meet you!

I have been working in the clinical setting for 5 years. I was educated in Psychology at University of North Texas and received my master's in counseling from Houston Baptist University. I have worked in both inpatient and outpatient settings, as well as done individual therapy in person and through telehealth.

My approach to therapy

I have been trained in the DBT framework, finding its irreverent style and structure helpful for patients struggling with emotional regulation. I focus on teaching mindfulness and acceptance to help patients move through life's challenges. I have experience with working with patients with trauma, borderline personality, and those in the LGBTQ+ community.

What you can expect from me

On my first session, I want to know your expectations of therapy, if you have had previous experiences, and what your goals of working with me are. I will let you know that I utilize homework to build accountability in gaining new skills. I want our space to be safe yet structured so you can get the most out of your therapy with me!
