Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m Ally, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with an MSW from Fordham University. Before moving into private practice, I worked in medical social work, supporting adults through stress, grief, uncertainty, and major life changes. I work with adults who feel anxious, overwhelmed, burned out, stuck in familiar patterns, or curious about understanding themselves and their relationships more deeply. My style is warm, open-minded, and affirming. I want therapy to feel like a place where you can be honest, feel understood, and work toward changes that genuinely matter to you.

My approach to therapy

My approach is warm, collaborative, and curious. I want you to feel genuinely understood, not judged or told what to do. Together, we’ll explore how your thoughts, emotions, relationships, and past experiences may be affecting you today, while developing practical tools that fit your life. I draw from cognitive behavioral, relational, and insight-oriented approaches, tailoring our work to your needs and goals.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, we’ll talk about what brought you to therapy, what you’d like support with, and what you hope might feel different. You don’t need to have everything figured out or share more than you’re ready for. I’ll answer any questions you have and take time to get to know you as a person. I hope that you leave feeling heard, a little more at ease, and with a clear sense of what working together could look like.
