Great to meet you!

If you're carrying anxiety that won't slow down, the lingering effects of a hard relationship, or the quiet exhaustion of trying to show up for everyone else while losing yourself in the process, you're in the right place. I'm Allyiah, an LCSW with nearly a decade of experience working in crisis centers, schools, and hospitals. I specialize in supporting women, Black and multicultural clients, adults navigating ADHD, and survivors of domestic violence. My approach centers your whole self not just the presenting problem and I meet you exactly where you are on your journey.

My approach to therapy

I work primarily with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy, Narrative Therapy, and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy and I choose what fits you rather than defaulting to one method. Sessions feel collaborative and grounded. I'm genuinely curious about your story, your patterns, and what a better version of your daily life actually looks like to you. I don't believe healing is linear, but I do believe it's possible and I've had the privilege of watching people get there.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is about getting to know each other. We'll explore what's brought you here, what you're hoping to grow from or into, and I'll ask questions to understand your specific challenges and goals. You'll also have space to ask me anything: about my style, my background, or whether we feel like a good fit. There's no pressure to have it all figured out before we start. That's what session one is for.
