Great to meet you!

I am an LPCC-S (licensed professional clinical counselor supervisor), LPAT (licensed professional art therapist), and 200 hour Registered Yoga Teacher. I graduated from Ursuline College in 2016 with a dual master's degree in Counseling and Art Therapy, following which I worked in day treatment with kids and adolescents with severe emotional and behavioral challenges. I have also had experience working with adolescents in residential substance abuse treatment and individual kids in community mental health settings. After earning my independent counseling license in 2019, I continue to work with individual clients ranging from ages 3-70+ specializing in trauma and loss in both nonprofit and private practice settings, as well as providing affirming care for members of the LGBTQIA+ community. Throughout this time I have furthered my education and training by completing the Linnehan Institute DBT training (2018), EMDRIA approved EMDR training (2019), completion of my supervision designation (2020), and 200 hour registered yoga teacher training (2022), among others. I do my best to tailor my approach individually for each client depending on their specific needs, goals, personality, and history.

My approach to therapy

I believe that everyone is capable of healing and growing if given the right tools and support. I believe that all parts of your self and your story deserve to be heard, honored and validated in a safe, supportive space. I offer an eclectic mix of holistic, trauma informed therapies including Art Therapy, Yoga, Mindfulness and Meditation, Therapeutic Play, and EMDR to facilitate healing of challenges caused by ADHD, Adjustment (general issues), Adoption, Anxiety, Attachment issues, Bereavement, Complex Trauma/CPTSD/PTSD, Complicated Grief/Traumatic Loss, Depression, LGBTQIA+ Issues, and Life Transitions (general) in children, adults, and adolescents

What you can expect from me

I think it's important to collaborate with each individual to explore their needs and values. In each intake session, we will discuss your individual needs and which approaches may be best suited to your current goals.
