Great to meet you!

I’m a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with 13 years of experience dedicated to helping individuals, couples, and families navigate life’s challenges with clarity, compassion, and practical tools for lasting change. My clinical focus includes treating clients with anxiety, depression, relationship distress, trauma-related stress, life transitions and self-esteem issues. My approach is warm, collaborative, and grounded in evidence‐based practices that support emotional healing and healthy relationships.

My approach to therapy

I believe that meaningful change happens when clients feel safe, understood, and empowered, so I work to create a space where you can explore your experiences without judgment and at a pace that feels right for you.

I integrate systemic therapy with a solution‐focused approach to help you identify strengths, clarify goals, and move toward practical, achievable change. Rather than staying stuck in what isn’t working, we focus on what is working, what’s possible, and the small steps that create momentum.

With couples, I draw heavily from the Gottman Method to help partners improve communication, deepen connection, and break out of unhelpful cycles. This includes structured interventions, research‐based tools, and a focus on building trust, friendship, and shared meaning.

What you can expect from me

In the first session this is a chance for us to get to know each other and begin building a foundation of safety, trust, and clarity. I create a calm, welcoming environment where you can share your story at your own pace and begin exploring what brought you to therapy.

During this session, we’ll talk about your goals, your current challenges, and what you hope will feel different in your life or relationships. I’ll ask thoughtful questions to help us understand the patterns, strengths, and stressors that shape your experiences. Together, we’ll begin identifying the first small steps toward change using a solution‐focused approach—highlighting what’s already working and where you want to go.

If you’re coming in as a couple, I’ll guide you through a structured conversation informed by the Gottman Method. This helps me understand your communication patterns, areas of strength, and the cycles that may be keeping you stuck. Couples often leave the first session feeling heard, understood, and clearer about the path forward.
