Great to meet you!

If you're dealing with intrusive thoughts you can't make sense of, working to stay in recovery, or carrying something from your past that keeps showing up in the present — that's the work I do. I specialize in OCD, trauma, depression, and substance use, and I've spent years working alongside clients at every level of care, including Partial Hospitalization and Intensive Outpatient programs. That experience means I'm comfortable with the harder end of things, and I know that progress is possible even when it's felt out of reach for a long time.

My approach to therapy

I use evidence-based approaches and match them to what you're actually working through. For OCD, that means Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP). For trauma, I'm trained in TF-CBT, Prolonged Exposure, and Written Exposure Therapy. I also draw on CBT, DBT, and Behavioral Activation depending on what fits. My approach is direct and collaborative — I'll tell you why I'm suggesting what I'm suggesting, and we'll adjust as we go.

What you can expect from me

The first session is mostly a conversation. I'll ask about what's bringing you in, your history, and what you're hoping to get out of therapy. You don't need to have it all figured out before we start — plenty of people come in without a clear answer to that yet, and that's fine. By the end, you'll have a sense of how I work and whether it feels like a good fit.
